Project 1:

Disclosure, passing on of information and confidentiality - an implementation project

Project leader: Chris Rose
Brief project overview: This project aims to select providers who have developed effective and interesting policies, to work with them on how good practice can be achieved.

Carrying out reviews of policies, procedures and practice for adult and community learning - making it manageable

Brief project overview: This project will support adult and community education providers to review their policies, procedures and practices in relation to the DDA Part 4.

Developing access to specialist support for adult community learning and work based learning providers

Project leader: Liz Maudslay
Brief project overview: This project will look at examples of good practice in accessing specialist support and models of how the internal co-ordination of support can be managed in the adult community learning context.

Brief project overview: This project aims to research the features of effective risk assessments, to examine when they might need to be drawn up, and to provide practical examples.

Brief project overview: This project will examine examples of effective practice in identifying and allocating resources for additional learning support in adult community learning.

Updating and extending the LSC's resources review

Brief project overview: This project will update and extend the review of resources available on LSC’s website. This review will be designed to assist all providers meeting the requirements of the DDA, including work based learning providers.
