The LSN is committed to supporting the development of education worldwide. In order to achieve this, we offer the highest quality education consultancy services to governments, international development agencies and other development partners.
How we work:
Our services are comprehensive: from assisting with education policy development and advising on curriculum design, through programme and project design and management, to organisation and institutional development.
We have considerable expertise in capacity building, helping to form solid foundations for education development and reform. We provide technical assistance and training in most aspects of education - for example in developing curriculum and learning materials, eLearning and training teachers.
Example of a typical LSN assignment
We have supported and facilitated a review of Post-14 curriculum as well as teaching and learning strategies in Lithuania . The project aimed to evaluate the provision of Post 14 vocational qualifications and special education needs. The LSN team provided evaluation and consultancy support to review the current provision and recommend suitable improvements.
Key activities included:
- Providing a delegation of training and consultancy support to the Ministry of Education and Science of the Republic of Lithuania over a period of eight months
- Evaluating the delivery of education through specific programmes and projects and making recommendations to enhance the delivery of vocational qualifications and special educational needs.
- Designing and delivering training programmes to enhance educational programmes and build capacity. This required translation into local languages.
