We aim to work in partnership with our funders to deliver the best outcomes for our sector, learners and the economy. Learning and Skills Council (LSC)
The Learning and Skills Council (LSC) exists to make England better skilled and more competitive. Their aim is to improve the skills of England's young people and adults to make sure we have a workforce that is of world-class standards. The LSC is responsible for planning and funding high-quality vocational education and training for everyone. Their vision is that by 2010, young people and adults in England have the knowledge and skills matching the best in the world and are part of a fiercely competitive workforce.
The Department for Children, Schools and Families (DCSF)
The Department for Education and Skills was established with the purpose of creating opportunity, releasing potential and achieving excellence for all.
Scottish Funding Council
The Scottish Funding Council is a single body providing a strategic overview of tertiary education in Scotland and will secure a more coherent system of high-quality learning and research.
The Northwest Regional Development Agency
The Northwest Regional Development Agency is responsible for the sustainable economic development and regeneration of England's Northwest and has 5 key priorities: Business Development, Regeneration, Skills & Employment, Infrastructure and Image.
The Specialist Schools and Academies Trust (SSAT)
The Specialist Schools and Academies Trust (SSAT) is the leading national body for secondary education in England, part funded by the DfES, delivering the Government's Specialist Schools and Academies programme.
Becta
Becta is the Government's key partner in the strategic development and delivery of its information and communications technology (ICT) and e-learning strategy for the schools and the learning and skills sectors. Becta is a UK agency which supports all four education departments in their strategic ICT developments.
Becta's purpose is to provide strategic leadership in the innovative and effective use of ICT to enable the transformation of learning, teaching and educational organisations for the benefit of every learner.
Centre for Economic & Social Inclusion
CESI is an independent, not for profit organisation dedicated to promoting social justice, social inclusion and tackling disadvantage. We work with the public sector, voluntary organisations, business and trade unions.
CfBT Education Trust
CfBT Education Trust is a leading charity providing education services for public benefit in the UK and internationally. Established 40 years ago CfBT Education Trust now has an annual turnover exceeding £100 million and employs more than 2,000 staff worldwide.
Our work involves teacher and leadership training, curriculum design, school inspection and support for school improvement. In addition to teaching in schools we provide services direct to learners in schools or through projects for excluded pupils, in young offender institutions and in advice and guidance for young people.
Every year CfBT finances a substantial programme of public benefit research and development.

citizED is an organisation funded by the Teacher Development Agency (TDA). It is a collaboration within higher education for all providers of initial teacher education in England.
e-skills UK
e-skills UK acts as the voice of employers on IT, Telecoms and Contact Centres to create the skills environment that businesses need to be productive and competitive.

fforwm is the national organisation representing all 23 Further Education (FE) Colleges and the two FE institutions in Wales.
Institute for Learning (IfL)
We are the professional body for teachers and trainers and student teachers in the learning and skills sector. By supporting the professional needs of our members we strive to raise the status of practitioners across the sector.
Institute of Biology
The Institute of Biology is the professional body for UK biologists. It was founded in 1950, obtained a Royal Charter in 1979, and is a registered charity. Its 14,000 members work in industry, research, education and healthcare, amongst other areas
Institute of Education
Founded in 1902, the Institute of Education is a world class centre of excellence for research, teacher training, higher degrees and consultancy in education and education-related areas of social science.
Institute of Physics
The Institute of Physics is a scientific membership organisation devoted to increasing the understanding and application of physics. It has an extensive worldwide membership (currently over 34,000) and is a leading communicator of physics with all audiences from specialists through government to the general public. Its publishing company, IOP Publishing, is a world leader in scientific publishing and the electronic dissemination of physics.
Science Learning Centres
Science Learning Centres provide the highest quality Continuing Professional Development for everyone involved in science education, at all levels. With a network of ten Centres across the country access to innovative and inspiring courses is within easy reach.
The Centre for Excellence in Leadership (CEL)
CEL's remit is to foster and support leadership improvement, reform and transformation throughout the sector. It serves the existing and future leaders of all providers through programmes, events, support services and bespoke consulting assignments.
The Royal Society of Chemistry
The RSC is the largest organisation in Europe for advancing the chemical sciences. Supported by a worldwide network of members and an international publishing business, our activities span education, conferences, science policy and the promotion of chemistry to the public.
The Training and Development Agency for Schools
The Training and Development Agency's purpose is to raise children’s standards of achievement and promote their well-being by improving the training and development of the whole school workforce.
