Summary: The summer 08 edition of 14-19 News is designed for all those involved with the Diplomas and the delivery of the 14-19 reforms. The termly magazine will continue to cover articles from DCSF, QCA, QIA, Ofsted and others with updates on policy. This issue includes a leading article by Secretary of State Ed Balls where he recognises the progress that has been made and underlines the government's commitment to making the Diplomas a success. Other contributions include Sir Alan Jones Chair of Semta, Professor Steve Smith of Exeter University, and from Mary Curnock Cook who explains how QCA is supporting the delivery of qualifications through a range of new guidance resources.
