Summary: This report outlines the results of a national survey on current practice in sustainable development in the learning and skills sector. The survey was carried out following the publication of From here to sustainability – the Learning and Skills Council strategy on education for sustainable development. The survey assessed how sustainable development was being addressed in the four key areas of leadership and management, buildings and estates, teaching and learning programmes and community and business. There is evidence that the learning and skills sector is making progress on implementing the sustainable development agenda in most areas.
