Business Interchange Research
This research, commission by LLUK, identified (pilot) models for Business Interchange (BI) initiatives to be piloted in the FE sector. BI schemes allow for interchange between college and industry workforces to facilitate professional updating, networking and greater engagement between colleges and industry in the context of the imperative to develop a skilled workforce.
The research included a scoping study to identify a range of professional development models, consultation with 100 key stakeholders /eg from SSC’s – complete, feasibility assessment, models specifications, seeker wide consultation and interest at provider level and identifications of pilot models.
