Evaluation of the CPD Database
LSN Research is currently carrying out an evaluation of the Training and Development Agency for Schools’ (TDA’s) continuing professional development (CPD) pilot database. The database aims provide a centralised resource of CPD opportunities for the whole school workforce, and our evaluation considers whether and how this adds value to existing mechanisms for identifying and accessing CPD. Findings will inform further development and roll-out of the database. There are a number of strands to this evaluation, including work with case-study schools, a survey of database users, and analysis of management information data.
