LSN's Research Department work on over 30 projects a year and so we have new publications and events coming out/happening all the time.

Understanding FE Mergers:
Over past few years there has been a rise in number of mergers of FE colleges. All this is occuring at time of changes in the structure and role of FE in general. This report building on Research carried out by LSN examines the factors that drive mergers, the circumstances in which they occur and crucially the elements that make them successful.

The impact of mobile learning :
LSN has been running a successful research project for LSC into the use of Mobile technology to enhance learning for several years.
The latest report on the MoLeNET project is titled "The impact of mobile learning" and reviews some of the findings so far. It will be published by the end of July 2009.
