Our Websites

Our websites support learning providers - their leaders, managers, teachers and trainers, to meet the challenges they face as our sector grows and develops. Funded by the DCSF and LSC amongst others, each programme is designed to support a particular priority.

Our suite of websites include:

Key skills StudentsKey skills Students
The Key Skills Support Programme introduced their free student website in the spring of 2004. Students helped with the production and testing of this website which checks skills levels, offers learning materials and gives the opportunity to practise skills in a business setting. The site even has a mystery game for learners applying their skills.



LSDA Northern IrelandLSDA Northern Ireland
LSDA Northern Ireland is a strategic national resource, supporting the development of policy and assisting in its implementation, across all further education providers in Northern Ireland.



LSNLSN
The Learning and Skills Network (LSN) is an independent not-for-profit organisation committed to making a difference to education and training. We aim to do this by delivering quality improvement and staff development programmes that support specific government initiatives, through research, training and consultancy; and by supplying services directly to schools, colleges and training organisations.

LSN Solutions provides high quality bespoke training and consultancy for the FE system and beyond. As well as complementing LSN's wide range of externally funded support programmes we also deliver a wide range of training and consultancy solutions. These are specifically tailored to help education and training providers meet the demands of the changing and challenging environment that we all work within.



LSRCLSRC
The Learning and Skills Research Centre is the first Centre sponsored by DfES and the Learning and Skills Council to focus solely on post-16 learning. The LSRC is based at and managed by LSN.



MolenetMolenet
The Mobile Learning Network (MoLeNET) is a unique collaborative approach to encouraging, supporting, expanding and promoting mobile learning, primarily in the English Further Education sector, via supported shared cost mobile learning projects.



Post-16 CitizenshipPost-16 Citizenship
Young people and staff involved in citizenship work can use this site to find out the latest news about post-16 citizenship. The site includes coverage of key citizenship issues and support for delivery with the opportunity to download free materials and resources and link to other useful sites.



Qualification Reform Support ProgrammeQualification Reform Support Programme
This website is a portal that links the many different agencies and sub programmes involved in the UKVQRP. The website also provides general information, news and updates about UKVQRP, details of upcoming events and opportunities for Providers to become involved in development projects.



Subject Learning CoachesSubject Learning Coaches
The National Teaching and Learning Change Programme, informally known as the Subject Learning Coaches Programme, has three enablers to help deliver learner success. The three Programme enablers are: subject specific Teaching and Learning Resources; Subject Coaching Networks, organised to facilitate networking; and Professional Training for Subject Learning Coaches designed to develop peer coaching skills and support teachers and trainers to share these skills with colleagues.

From this website you can access the latest news from the Train to Gain development programme. We offer training materials, events information and self assessment tools.



Triple ScienceTriple Science
The website is designed to support the Triple Science Support Programme and contains over 900 links to resources, publications and multimedia applications. Triple Science CommunityTriple Science Community
This community allows practitioners to access knowledge and information from each other and selected partners almost instantaneously. It also encourages practitioners to share their resources and ideas in a document bank and talk to each other over the web



Vocational LearningVocational Learning
Visit the website of the Vocational Learning Support Programme for resources, materials, publications and information. The site provides a focal point for information and ideas on high quality vocational learning, including vocational GCSEs, the new A levels and other work related learning.
